One of the major concerns of a site owner is security. This holds true for all kinds of sites, especially those sites that have data to be protected. This data can be of any nature – company data or customer data. Leakage of such data or the site getting hacked can mean a tremendous loss. It is therefore important to have web development in a way that ensures sound security.
One way to ensure security is by using layered security. What is layered security? Layered security is when we use several methods to amplify the effectiveness of a security system. For this you can add your own personal firewall to each endpoint to control the network traffic to each device. End points are desktop, laptop, palmtop, servers and handhelds. These days it is very important to have some kind of encryption on the handhelds and laptops to protect against the theft of data.
A great way to build on security strength is to get the users have strong passwords and use security settings on their Web Browsers.
